Navigating Life Transitions One Page at a Time

Navigating Life Transitions One Page at a Time

Over the years, planning has taught me a lot of things.

But one of the biggest lessons?

Plans change.

And if the last year has taught me anything, it’s that learning to adapt is just as important as learning to plan.

As many of you know, July marks a significant transition for our planner community. Tula XII has officially become Tula XII Paper Co., moving from a direct sales model to an affiliate model. The products aren’t going away. The way we share them is simply changing.

And honestly?

I’m excited.

Really excited.

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know I’m not always a fan of change. I like knowing what’s coming. I like having a plan. I like being prepared.

But this transition feels different.

It feels like the beginning of a new season.

Looking Back with Gratitude

Before I talk about what’s ahead, I want to take a moment to look back.

When I first joined Tula XII, I never could have predicted where the journey would lead. Like many of you, I started because I loved the products. I loved the planners. I loved the creativity. I loved finding tools that helped me bring a little more calm to the chaos of everyday life.

What I didn’t expect were the friendships.

Some of my closest friendships today exist because of this community.

Customers became friends.

Teammates became friends.

People I may never have met otherwise became an important part of my life.

Those relationships are something I will always be grateful for.

I’ve also grown in ways I never anticipated. Leading a team stretched me. It pushed me outside my comfort zone. It taught me how to encourage others, solve problems, communicate more effectively, and step into leadership opportunities I might have avoided in the past.

Those lessons won’t disappear just because the business model is changing.

Neither will the friendships.

One thing I’ve always promised myself is that I never wanted relationships to exist only because of a title or a compensation plan. The people I’ve met through this community matter to me, and I fully intend to stay connected long after this transition settles in.

Sometimes Growth Looks Different Than We Expect

Here’s something I’ve learned this year.

Growth doesn’t always mean adding more.

Sometimes growth means letting go.

Sometimes it means simplifying.

Sometimes it means making space for something new.

If I’m being completely honest, along with the excitement, I also feel relief.

Not because I didn’t love my team.

I absolutely did.

But after a year filled with unexpected challenges, I can recognize that this season of life looks different than previous seasons.

This year has included family health challenges, countless medical appointments, difficult decisions, long drives, unexpected detours, and more reminders than I care to count that I cannot control everything.

I’ve had to learn to rely on my village.

I’ve had to let people help me.

I’ve had to acknowledge that I can’t carry everything by myself.

And while that lesson hasn’t always been easy, it has been necessary.

As the leadership responsibilities shift away, I find myself excited to return to something simple: sharing the planning products I genuinely love and use every day.

Not because I have to showcase everything.

Not because I’m trying to keep up with expectations.

But because I truly enjoy helping people discover tools that make life a little easier.

What Isn’t Changing

Even though a lot is changing right now, one thing isn’t.

My passion for helping women find calm in the chaos.

That mission remains exactly the same.

The platforms may evolve.

The programs may evolve.

The products may evolve.

But the heart behind what I do remains unchanged.

I still believe planning can be a powerful tool for reducing overwhelm.

I still believe women deserve support and encouragement.

I still believe progress matters more than perfection.

And I still believe that sometimes the best thing we can do is take the next right step.

I’m also excited about some new opportunities that are taking shape behind the scenes. While I’m not quite ready to share all the details yet, I’m looking forward to creating more opportunities for women who are actively working toward their goals, building intentional lives, and taking meaningful action toward what matters most.

More on that soon. 💜

The Next Chapter

As I look back over the last year, I’m honestly amazed by how much has changed.

A year ago, many of the things that happened this year weren’t even on my radar.

And yet, here we are.

That’s the funny thing about planning.

Planning isn’t about predicting the future.

It’s about helping us navigate whatever the future brings.

My planner didn’t prevent the hard moments.

It didn’t eliminate the surprises.

But it gave me a place to regroup, reassess, and move forward one step at a time.

That’s what I hope it does for you, too.

If you’re walking through a season of transition right now—whether it’s a career change, a family change, an empty-nest season, a health challenge, or simply a chapter that feels different than the one before—know that you’re not alone.

Sometimes the end of one season is simply making room for the beginning of another.

And sometimes the chapters we never planned end up becoming the ones that shape us the most.

As for me, I’m choosing gratitude for where I’ve been, excitement for where I’m headed, and trust that this next chapter will unfold exactly as it’s supposed to.

One page at a time.
