Reflect, Reset, Refocus: Ending May Strong
Can you believe it? Another month is almost in the books. If you’re anything like me, May moved fast — and maybe not everything went exactly as planned. But that’s okay.
Because how you end a month matters just as much as how you start it.
This is your invitation to pause, reflect, and reset before you move forward.
🪞 Reflect: What Did You Learn This Month?
Reflection isn’t about judgment — it’s about clarity. Look back at your month and ask:
- What worked well for me?
- What threw me off?
- What routines or habits felt sustainable?
- What surprised me?
Grab your planner or a journal and jot down a few quick thoughts. You might be amazed at what comes up when you give yourself space to look back.
💡 Planner tip: Use a blank space or the notes section in your May layout to create a mini “May Reflection” summary.
🔄 Reset: Clear the Clutter (Mentally + Physically)
Before diving into June, take a moment to reset:
- Declutter your planner — remove sticky notes, file old inserts, toss papers you don’t need.
- Clear off your desk or planning space.
- Rewrite open tasks that are still important (and let go of what’s no longer serving you).
- Release the guilt over anything that didn’t get done. Grace before goals, always.
💡 Energy check: What do you need more of? Less of? Use that info to realign your schedule or boundaries for next month.
🎯 Refocus: Where Do You Want to Go Next?
Now’s the time to look ahead with intention. Not with pressure — with purpose.
Ask yourself:
- What do I want more of in June?
- What does success look and feel like for me right now?
- What’s one habit I want to carry forward?
- What’s one thing I’m ready to leave behind?
💡 Planning tip: Try a “June Intention Box” at the top of your monthly spread: One word, one focus, one action.
