The Best Books for Busy Women Ready to Take Action
When life gets hectic, sometimes the best remedy is a dose of inspiration. Whether you’re seeking to boost productivity, build better habits, strengthen your mindset, or simply get back in motion, the right book can be a game-changer. Below are five of my favorite reads from my Amazon storefront that have helped me stay grounded, focused, and moving forward — even in chaotic seasons. 🌅 The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
This one completely transformed the way I start my day. It’s not about waking up at 5 a.m. (don’t worry!) — it’s about creating a purposeful morning routine that sets the tone for everything else.
What I loved: The SAVERS framework — Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing — makes it easy to build a routine that fits your schedule.
💡 Try this: Even if you only have 6 minutes in the morning, this book shows you how to make it count.
🐸 Eat That Frog! by Brian Tracy
If you’ve ever stared at your to-do list and felt frozen, this one’s for you. The idea is simple: tackle your most important task (your “frog”) first thing, and the rest of the day feels lighter.
What I loved: It breaks down time management in a way that’s easy to apply and doesn’t overwhelm you with complicated systems. (PS If this sounds good to you, stay tuned for more info on our 2025 Q3 book club. hint hint)
💡 Try this: Pick your frog each morning, write it in your planner, and do it first — before distractions creep in.
🧠 Atomic Habits by James Clear
Hands down one of the most actionable books I’ve ever read. This one is all about how tiny habits lead to massive change — and how to make them stick.
What I loved: Clear’s breakdown of the Four Laws of Behavior Change made me rethink how I approach everything from my morning routine to my social media habits.
💡 Try this: Use habit stacking: “After I [current habit], I will [new habit].”
✅ The Best Yes by Lysa TerKeurst
If your calendar is packed and you’re constantly saying “yes” when you mean “maybe,” this one will hit home. Lysa helps you break out of the cycle of people-pleasing and step into wiser, value-aligned decision-making.
What I loved: It gave me language and confidence to say no — and feel good about it. You’ll often hear me say “no is a complete sentence!”
💡 Try this: Before you commit, ask: “Is this my best yes — or just my default yes?”
🧠 Get Out of Your Head by Jennie Allen
This one’s for those of us who can spiral into negative thinking. Jennie gives you tools (and truth) to stop toxic thoughts in their tracks and replace them with peace and perspective.
What I loved: It’s faith-based and practical, with questions and exercises that help you actually do the work.
💡 Try this: Use your planner to track thought patterns and shift your focus throughout the day.
