You Can Find Calm in the Chaos

You can find calm in the chaos, mama!

You are in the right place, my friend. I want you to know that you are not alone and that I am here to help you walk through this journey of finding calm in the chaos.

Let’s talk about this in terms that I think we can all relate to – weeds in our gardens. Ok, maybe you don’t have a garden…but I think you can visualize this with me.

I always have these grand intentions about planting a garden. I enjoy the peace and quiet that comes from working in the garden (because it is rare for my kids to join me). I love the veggies that come straight from the garden. I do NOT enjoy the weeding portion of it though. With rare exception, there comes a point in the season where I get so overwhelmed by the amount of weeds that I just give up. It just becomes too much. This might be where you are right now with all of your obligations. Work. Family. Household commitments. Insane schedules. I. GET. IT.

The first step to overcoming this is making the decision that something has to change. Start where you are. For my garden, that meant starting with just one of my raised beds and pulling as many weeds as I could. It took me an hour. Was it perfect? Nope. Were there still some weeds left? Yep. But progress was made and I felt like I accomplished something. It will be easier to tackle that next one and make more progress.

Planning your way out of the chaos is much like that example of weeding my garden. It starts with that decision that you need to do something different. That’s why you’re here, right? Yay you! The next step is to figure out what you need help with. Do you need help with learning time management skills? Are you looking for a central place to keep up with all of the things?

We have a community of Chaos Coordinators who are doing just what you are – trying to find calm in the chaos of life. We would love to have you join us. We also offer workshops where you can learn things like how to manage your time, how to prioritize your to-do list, how to create a home command center, and so much more. You can also create a custom planner that will help you organize all the things that are making you feel overwhelmed right now.

Where will you start today?
