What it Means to be a Tula XII Brand Ambassador

Brand Ambassadors as a general title, along with Influencers, might get a little harsh criticism in today’s social media climate.

To me, being a Brand Ambassador means that I authentically share my love of the products and company that I represent, as well as the tools/skills to USE those products with people who could benefit from them.

The key word there – AUTHENTIC.

The Teresa that you see online is the Teresa that you will meet in person. I share the highs and the lows in life, though I do try not to dwell too much in the lows for my own mental health. I’m honest about the fact that blended families are HARD and we have had (and are in) challenging seasons as a family. I will tell you that as much as I love my planner, there are days that I don’t use it. (Though I usually kick myself for that later, haha.) I struggle with building healthy habits just as much as the next person. However, I know that these are GOOD habits for me and it is important to me that I keep trying to make those incremental improvements day after day.

As an Independent Tula XII Brand Ambassador, I am able to share the things I’ve learned that have helped me find calm in the chaos of life and help you put those things into practice in your own life. We get to have fun, play games and just do life together in our private community. I love teaching new skills and seeing how my customers’ lives are improved by implementing small changes in their daily habits.

Now, I also love getting sneak peeks at new products. 😉 I mean, who doesn’t want to know what’s coming before it launches?? I think this is a pretty cool perk that we get as Brand Ambassadors. (PS You get even EARLIER sneak peeks when you’re a Leader.) We also usually get to do early buys so that we can have them in our hands to show you when they actually launch!

Tula XII does offer Corporate Training that is publicly available – nothing to hide here! This information helps you to get your new business up and running from the minute that you join us! If you’re anything like me, you might even watch all of that training BEFORE actually joining. 🤣 I had to know what I was getting into! No surprises here, and if you have questions about anything that is posted, I am happy to answer them!

When I first joined Tula XII as a Brand Ambassador in late February 2021, I thought I was just in it for the discount (i.e. earning commission on the purchases I was already planning to make). I was already running multiple other businesses and didn’t really need to add one more thing to my plate. BUT I quickly felt welcomed into the family as part of the Harmony Heroes and fell in love with the products once I actually had them in my hands. You see, I joined before I’d ever held a single product! So I decided to share the products with my friends that I already knew were as addicted to paper planners as I was, and quickly worked my way through earning those Fast Track rewards. Hello free product credit!! I attended my first Leader Retreat just a few months later in August 2021 and I haven’t looked back since.

As a Leader with Tula XII, I have been able to stretch my personal growth, including providing training to other Tula XII leaders at our 2022 Leader Retreat! I am NOT a fan of public speaking and am very much an introvert, but having this opportunity was something that I wasn’t going to waste. Just because something is hard doesn’t mean it isn’t worth doing. In fact, the opposite is probably true – it’s worth doing BECAUSE it is hard!

My favorite part of these Leader Retreats though is just the comradery that is built, both with my own teammates as well as the leaders from other teams. It is truly a joy to see people who are willing to share what they are doing in their own businesses and teams to help others grow in their own skills. At this past Leader Retreat, I shared a home with other Harmony Heroes Leaders, so we really bonded as a team. We have so many inside jokes now…and I’m already looking forward to seeing them again at next year’s Leader Retreat. We definitely passed that “team zone” and are already into the “friend zone” or maybe even “family!”

I love celebrating my team’s successes, no matter how small they might be. Or the big ones too…like the Harmony Heroes being the FIRST Executive Brand Director led team (that’s the very top level in our current comp plan structure), AND being the first $1M team in Tula XII history! That’s a lot of planners y’all!

While making sales is great, it warms my heart to hear the stories of how adding planning skills to their lives has helped my customers and my teammates. Truly, working on time management skills, prioritizing to-do lists, and learning better ways to keep track of things has improved my marriage and helps me to make sure that I am spending my time where I NEED to be and not just wasting it. It has helped me say “no” to things that were no longer adding value to my life, which opened up space for other things that I wanted to accomplish.
